Get Your Golf Cleats Ready...

The 2nd Annual Mustang Stampede golf tournament will be hosted by the Midland Adventist Academy Foundation on Friday, October 8. MAAF needs everyone -- golfers and non-golfers alike -- to help out with this important event.

The Foundation also invites you to attend the Mustang Stampede Golf Tournament Event Rally in preparation for this upcoming golfing opportunity. You'll be excited to learn the location of this year's tournament at the Rally!

Rally location: Midland Adventist Academy, 6915 Maurer Road, Shawnee KS
Rally date: Date to be announced

There are five ways to help with the tournament:

First, lead a foursome
Second, golf at the event
Third, sponsor a Midland student who golfs
Fourth, be a non-golfing fundraiser
Fifth, be a corporate sponsor

See a Foundation board member (Cindy Christensen, Cary DeCamp, Trudy Hoffman, Russell Keller, Andy Jahn, Steve Trana, Stephen Tucker) or call (913) 907-9271 to help. Proceeds from the annual Mustang Stampede help fund important projects at MAA such as the recently completed parking lot make-over. Midland Adventist Academy also thanks Shawnee Mission Medical Center for its past donation that helped make the new parking lot possible.

Parking Lot Progress

The makeover of Midland's parking lot was completed in August 2010, thanks to the Midland Foundation. The old curbing was been removed and replaced by new cement curbs. Fresh asphalt was laid down, and striping applied in late August.

Mustang Stampede 1st Annual Golf Classic

Midland's Foundation celebrated September 25, 2009 as the date of the first annual Mustang Stampede Golf Classic, held at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course.

A total of 32 golfers participated in the scramble, cleared roughly $20,000 towards a new parking lot. We want to express a big thank you to each person who participated! Your hard work and generous donations will help pave the way for a new parking lot at Midland Adventist Academy.

How can you help? If you were contacted by a golfer to help sponsor them during the Classic, make good on your contribution in the near future. If no one approached you, you are still welcome to make a donation to the Midland Adventist Academy Foundation for any amount with the "Parking Lot project" identified. Contact the school for more information.

There are also many non-cash ways to support the MAAF that can provide tax advantages for you. If you have a vehicle, boat, camper, jewelry, collectible, property, security or any other asset of value that you’d like to donate, please let us know!
