Seventh and Eighth Grade Music

Welcome to the 7th and 8th Grade Page!

7th and 8th grade is a time to explore in more detail the various aspects of music. Whether it be band or choir, students at MAA, will learn about music theory and history as well as discovering aspects of sight-reading and practice ethic from performance based classes.

Students are required to participate in fine arts credits for both years and are welcome to be a part of both band and choir if they so choose. Because these years are very informative keeping your options open by participating in both options is recommended.
