Elizabeth Larrimore leads Midland’s K-12 Art Education department.
My purpose as an art teacher for Midland Adventist Academy is to show by example that all of our children can be great creators of art. I believe that when the students create a piece of art it is a gift from God they have created for themselves.
I will be a role model for the students to show them how art can help them in life, by teaching them patience, kindness, self-discipline, and caring.
When my students enter the art room I want them to feel like they enter a relaxed, fun, creative place where they are positively encouraged to create art.
