High School Graduation
 Midland gradated 11 seniors during the week of May 21-23, with the class of 2010 being the 13th group of seniors since MAA became an academy. Four seniors were recognized with gold cords, as they had maintained a 4-year GPA of 3.75 or greater.
 Seniors Zach Frishman (Caring Heart award), Sarah Whitson (National Choral award), and Chris Fairchild (John Philip Sousa and Michael C. Paradise awards) were honored for their achievements. Richard Young also presented scholarships from Union College to each senior that has been accepted for the coming school year.
 Speakers for the weekend were Richard Young, Pastor Douglas Elsey, and Ms. Deanne Sparks; special music was presented by juniors Jacob Trana and Kirbi Yelorda, and seniors Chris Fairchild, Lindsey Maddux, and Shawntee' Harris and her father Stetson.
