Home for Midland K-12
The late Coach John Wooden once said "Sports do not build character, they reveal it." That's one of the reasons that Midland coaches do their best to teach players how to perform both on the field, and off the field. Midland fans and players are proud to be Mustangs, but are equally proud to be Midland.

Midland at Acrofest
Our AcroClub has been visiting Washington Adventist University outside of Washington DC," reports Pastor Anthony Whitlow. "Joining about 25 other gymnastic teams totaling over 800 participants and clinicians, Midland's AcroClub has been learning all sorts of team and individual moves to learn and put in our own routines. If you would like to learn more about this year’s AcroFest program, you can view that by clicking here. Be sure to cheer for both our Midland and Union College teams!" says Pastor Anthony. In addition, Heidi Burke received the Heather Boulais Courage Award! (t"hanks to the Cutting Edge for this information and pics)
Union College Tournament
Our varsity Girls volleyball and Guys soccer spent three days at Union College during Fall break participating in the annual sports tournament. High School teams from around the Mid-American Union (and several from outside as well) met on Union's campus for a packed three days of friendly competition on court and field.
During these three days, our volleyball team will played a total of seven games, and varsity soccer five, with volleyball playing three games on the first day of tournament! For addtional results you can check Union's tournament page for information, scores and schedules. Here is a complete list of the high schools that participated. And Go Mustangs!

Cross Country Team
The cross-country season begins on August 31, and we have 9 meets on the calendar for 2017. Our athletic department at Midland would like to encourage all students who are thinking about playing any sport--be it volleyball, basketball, or soccer--or if you just want to get into shape or build a good, healthy habit, to consider joining the cross country team. We want to have both a boys’ and girls’ team, and have a good strong showing at each event we attend.
Cross country is an excellent sport. It can be as competitive as you want it to be, and it will help you feel great and do better in school. Please see Coach Sickler or Cross-country coach Mr. Karr for more information.
