Fruit Descriptions and Availability

(availability is dependent on the growing season of the fruit)

Red Grapefruit are seedless and have a smooth, golden skin with a slight blush or pink to reddish segments inside. They get sweeter during the early springs months.  $38  $22
Navel Oranges are medium to extra large, usually seedless. Navels are easy to peel, slice or section and are sweet. (from Florida or California)  $41  $23
Variety Pack: A regular half-size box will contain 32-42 pieces of fruit, depending on the fruit size. The box will consist of navels and red grapefruit.     $29
Tangerines are perfectly sized for snacking. Small to medium sized, this vibrantly colored fruit packs a big flavor. Available in half boxes only.          $27
Minneola Tangelos (or Honeybell Tangelos) are an anticipated variety that is available for only a few weeks in January. Deep orange in color, with a distinctive bell shape, they are very sweet, juicy, easy to peel and section. Tangelos are a cross between a tangerine and grapefruit.       $54 $31
Temple Oranges are a Florida classic. They have the biggest flavor of any orange, are good juicers, and have seeds. Floridians say, they're the "Queen of the crop".

Florida Spring Oranges are a juice orange. They have a sweet, mild flavor and are moderately seeded. Medium in size, they are only available during our final ordering period of the year.

Mandarins Sometimes known as a "Thanksgiving Orange" or "Christmas orange", these small, easy-to-peel citrus have become the most important commercial mandarin orange in the market today. (sold in five-pound bags)     $9 per bag  





Hint: to keep fruit fresh longer, store in a cool place, open the box and put half of the fruit in the lid for good air circulation.
