Mrs. Hoffman calls Kansas City home, and grew up mostly in Leawood, KS. After graduating from Enterprise Academy, she went to Union College where she met and married her husband, Brad.

Mrs. Hoffman’s first teaching experience was in St. Catherine, Ontario where she and her husband started a church school. After teaching in Toronto, she took a sabbatical for seven years to be a stay-at-home mom. When she began teaching again, it was in the lovely state of Nebraska.

Mrs. Hoffman reunited with her roots when the Hoffmans moved back to Kansas and she began teaching at Midland. After nine years at MAA, she and her family moved to Ohio where she taught at Spring Valley for three years. Upon returning to Kansas, Mrs. Hoffman came home again to Midland. She has been at MAA for more than 20 years, including four years as Midland's principal!

Since she began playing school with her dolls, Mrs. Hoffman always wanted to be a teacher. She not only loves the creative side of teaching, but never grows tired of watching kids learn and grasp new concepts. Most of all Mrs. Hoffman loves the ministry of teaching. Sharing with her students her own walk with Jesus, she encourages them every day to make Jesus their very best friend.

You'd be surprised to know that...
Mrs. Hoffman would like to ride a Harley motorcycle across America in the fall.

Married to husband Brad, the Hoffmans have three children.
