Bachelor of Science - Social Studies - Pacific Union College
Master of Arts - American History - Rutgers University-Camden

     After attending all twelve grades at Escondido Adventist Academy in San Diego County, California, Ms. Walker obtained a B.S. in Social Studies and two teaching credentials in secondary education from Pacific Union College. From California, she traveled all the way to New Jersey in order to acquire an M.A. in American History from Rutgers University-Camden, with specialties in race and gender studies.
     Since 2002, she has held the positions of Head Girls Dean at Sunnydale Adventist Academy, Social Studies teacher and Special Projects Administrator at Hinsdale Adventist Academy, and Adjunct Professor of History at Moberly Area Community College. In addition, she has conducted additional graduate study at the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Colorado-Boulder focusing on literature, literacy, and the K-16 educational continuum.

You'd be surprised to know that...
     At the age of 12, Mrs. Walker underwent major surgery on her spine to treat scoliosis. She gained two inches in height in a little over two hours!
