Born in Zachary, LA, Mr. Borne grew up in Quitman, MS and Crossville, TN. He attended Inez Wrenn SDA School in Crossville, TN and Bass Memorial Academy in Lumberton, MS.
Mr. Borne has taught a wide variety of subjects including biology, chemistry, physical science, earth science, A&P, Bible 1, and Bible 2. He has also coached gymnastics and taken teams to the annual SDA Acrofest gymnastics clinic.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Borne has served as Vice Principal at Union Springs Academy, on the NY Conference K-12 Board, and on various NAD and Union education committees. He has begun work on his Ph.D. in biomedical science relating to the subject of microcirculation.
You'd be surprised to know that...
Mr. Borne has ridden in a police car twice but only once by choice.
Mr. Borne has four children: Rebecca (college sophomore), Courtney (11th grade), Michael (7th grade), and Kelly (4th grade).
