Girl's MS Volleyball
Midland's Middle School team finished 5-6 in 2011 and are ready for another season of volleyball. Let's make this year a great one!
Coach Biographies (2013)
Sherl Fenton, Head Coach: Sherl returns to the Middle School Girls Volleyball team for her 8th year as head coach. She began playing volleyball in middle school (7th grade) and was soon hooked, playing on varsity teams throughout high school. She enjoys coaching, and says, "It is rewarding to watch the girls work hard to develop skills, and grow in their love for volleyball. They are not only improving their game skills, but they're learning to be team players, to do their best, and have fun; important, lifelong concepts they can use throughout their lives."
Kim Resz, Assistant coach: This is Kim's sixth year assisting Coach Fenton with the Middle School Girls Volleyball team. She has always enjoyed watching and playing volleyball, but has learned so much working with Sherl and the team!
She believes that Midland has a very talented group of young ladies that make the game fun, and that every player has something to offer to the team. Kim says that her philosophy with all sports is that "it doesn’t matter whether we win or lose, as long as you put forth your best effort and use the abilities God has given us as a witness to demonstrate our love for Him."
