SA Events - 2014/2015
.

Midland's Student Association (or SA) is the major student organization on campus.

SA is responsible for planning various events throughout the school year. Some of these events include, but are not limited to, elections, spirit days, SA banquets, school picnics, talent programs, and Student Week of Prayer.

SA Elections 2014

storytime logoSA Elections for the 2014-2015 school year were held on May 9. Of the 12 candidates, only four were members of the soon-to-be Senior class of 2015 (which is a bit unusual). Eligibile voters included members of this year's 8th grade class, plus the current Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman high school classes.

Here is a list of the new SA officers for 2014-2015. Serve your classmates well!

Annual Broken Arrow Ranch Retreat 2014

Each year Midland's high school students and staff participate in a three-day retreat at Broken Arrow Ranch. This year, the retreat took place August 20-22, with the SA staff leaving a day early on Tuesday. While at the ranch, the students competed in class events, enjoyed the pool, elected class officers, and had a chance to get re-acquainted after the summer. Check here for a photo gallery from this year's trip.

Class officers for the 2014/2015 school year

While at Broken Arrow Ranch, Midland's HS students voted in their class officers for the upcoming school year. Good luck to the following students as they lead their classmates from now until May (and we all know what happens then).

Some points of interest - the Sophomore class officers are all guys, the Svoboda and Hayward families will likely be busy with two officers on staff, and the Seniors are the only class with a sergeant-at-arms.
