Background

Mrs. Allen grew up in Owosso MI. She lived in the country and spent her time building sunflower forts in the yard and throwing sticks to her dogs. She worked as a tutor all the way through high school and college where she also worked in the girls dorm health club. Kelsea spent two summers working at Camp Au Sable doing what she loves best, working with kids. She attended Owosso SDA church school for grades K-8 and Great Lakes Adventist Academy for high school. She earned her bachelors in elementary education at Andrews University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a minor in mathematics and reading. She then went on to teach 7th and 8th grade at Battle Creek Academy for the last two years.

These are a few of her favorites things... Musicals like the Sound of Music and anything involving Broadway. She enjoys horseback riding in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. Reading outside (when it is warm) is her ideal afternoon. She always looking for an adventure and loves a good challenge. You will often find her spending time with her husband and the friends that God has blessed her with. Teaching has always been something that she enjoyed especially in the subject of math!

Family

Mrs. Allen has two siblings Jacob who is a junior at Southern Adventist University and a sister Cassidy who is a sophomore at Southern. Her husband Rodney is also from Michigan and loves living in Kansas!
