We are excited to have computer coding instruction beginning as part of our STEM curriculum starting in 2022. Students in grades K-2 will have a once a week class that meets on Tuesdays. Students in grades 3-8 will have a once a week class that meets on Thursdays. Code Ninja instructors will be on site to teach these classes.

Grades K-2  Code Ninjas Junior Program

This Program will consist of one hour classes where the students will have off-screen activities, STEM activities, and visual coding projects. Code Ninjas will provide snap circuits, spheros, and other learning equipment. Students will receive a certificate of achievement each month.

Grades 3-4  Code Ninjas Intro to Coding Concepts and STEM Program

This program will consist of one hour per week where students will learn the fundamentals of coding concepts. 

• 1st Quarter - Coding Concepts with Make Code.
• 2nd Quarter - Coding Concepts with Minecraft Education,
• 3rd Quarter - 3D Design concepts.
• 4th Quarter - Coding concepts with Micro:bits.

Grades 5-8 Code Ninjas Coding Concepts and Lego Robotics Education

This semester will consist of one hour per week where students will learn coding concepts with block and Javascript coding. 

1st Quarter

• Grades 5-6 - Coding with Make Code, Intro to JavaScript 
• Grades 7-8 - Lego Robotics Education

2nd Quarter

• Grades 5-6 - 3d Design and 3d Printing 
• Grades 7-8- Lego Robotics Education

3rd Quarter

• Grades 5-6 - Lego Robotics Education
• Grades 7-8 - Intro to Coding with Make Code 

4th Quarter

• Grades 5-6 - Lego Robotics Education
• Grades 7-8 3d Design and 3d Printing
