Class of 2006 Updates

2006 Midland Academy Updates

The class of 2006 have not been in the same room together since their graduation date, but we are able to remain together through memories. Some of us keep in touch, two even share children together, but we all are able to connect through our experiences with our time at Midland. In our group chat, we have been able to share stories and photos that take us back. Back to classes at Midland, back to Senior days at Union, back to the basketball or volleyball court, back to class trip in Florida and back to simply being a teen. We have a spot in each other's story. On this 15th year of celebrating us, we look into where people are currently in their lives and what different types of success people have obtained.

Updates not provided for Traven Bryant, Anthony Jones and Caleb Neuharth.

Joel Cachero

Since Midland, I have married my high school sweetheart, became the father of three boys, I received a Master's in Music Performance and in Education. I have performed my original music at shows across the US. It has been a wild ride that I would never have seen for myself, and I could never have done it without my wife and family.

Seth Clark

Currently Seth and his wife, Ale and their 6 year old daughter Amalie live in Bennet, NE. They are working alongside Skyview Learning Academy to grow their farm program into a reliable source of income and a hands-on experience for their students. Seth and Ale are excited to see God work in their new roles for Seth as School Chaplain and farm assistant to Ale, and Ale as farm manager. They wish everyone at MAA Alumni a warm hello. They wish they could have been here to celebrate with everyone but a farmer's work is never done!

Tyler Darrell

Since 2006, I met the love of my life, Holly, and we have been happily married for three years. In July, we welcomed our daughter, Jewel, into the world and have been blessed to have her in our lives these past few months. Together we currently reside in Shawnee, Kansas but are in the process of selling our house to find a new home for our growing family in the local area. Since graduating, I have changed career paths and have been working as a Glazer for the Local 558 for the past two years. In that time, I have been able to work on some incredible buildings such as the downtown Flashcube and the Lowes Hotel. In our spare time, we enjoy bowling, going to the local farmers market, the dog park, and of course, smoking some mean KC barbecue.

Jack Delphia

I am a Staff Sergeant and have been in the military 10 years this November. I've been stationed in Germany where I traveled all over Europe, FT Leavenworth working with the Military Police inside the max security prison, and Alaska as the Operations Sergeant for a Combat Medic then as an Airborne Brigade Combat Team company. Currently stationed at FT Bragg in North Carolina as a team leader for a Preventive medicine detachment. I’m married to Amy Delphia and have been together 12 years now. No kids EVER. Still madly in love (she plays video games too). Currently I’m deployed assisting in the refugee evacuation mission.
