Time is flying faster and faster, and the number of events are stacking high. Starting off with a bang, the high school went on a trip to the Kansas City Symphony and was able to enjoy the music performed for several hours. Later, the Junior class made a home-run hit with their performances at Junior Benefit. Not long after, the Seniors skedaddled on down to Florida for their class trip, where they soaked up the sunshine, homework-free. The finishing touches on the music programs are being made, and the final count-down to summer is being made, too.

Finals are starting to loom over everybody’s shoulder, but with finals comes summer. Projects are being piled up, and May is starting to fill with events! With the last month, there are always many surprises, and I’d be surprised if nothing unusual happened. With this being said, the state testing seems like a breeze compared to what’s coming up!
