Supply lists - Elementary

One of the fun parts of a new school year (at least if you're a kid) is shopping for school supplies. Here are the official lists for the 2018-2019 school year. Anybody got a spare pencil?


Kindergarten - Mrs. Murphy

Instead of a long list of supplies, I am asking each parent to provide $22.00 I will be able to buy supplies in bulk, and save each family some money.

Other non-school supplies

Grades 1 & 2 - Mrs. Prosser

Grades 3 & 4 - Mrs. Frishman

  • Sturdy backpack
  • Sturdy lunch container
  • 2 packages - wide-ruled notebook paper - NO SPIRALS PLEASE
  • 2 - wide-ruled composition books (Any color)
  • 2 dozen - YELLOW #2 lead pencils - NO MECHANICAL PENCILS PLEASE (The colorful pencils have a plastic coating that breaks our electric pencil sharpener.)
  • 2 packages - large, pink erasers 
  • 2 - Crayola Classic Color Pack Crayons, 24 Color 
  • 4 - chisel tip highlighters
  • 1 - Pointed Tip Scissors, 5"
  • Elmer's Washable School Glue Sticks, .24 oz, 4pk
  • 1 - black “Sharpie” permanent marker
  • 1 - standard size (9x3x5.5 approx.) school supply box.  (These will be stored in the cabinet with your child’s extra supplies.)
  • 2 – ½ inch 3-ring binder (Any color)
  • 1 – 1 inch 3-ring binder (Any color)
  • OPTIONAL - Washable markers - preferably broad tip - you may want to get 2 boxes of these while they are on sale. Students prefer Crayola brand.

Other non-school supplies

  • 2 box of tissues - These will be collected by the teacher
  • water bottle (this must be taken home weekly to be washed)
  • 1 large container of disinfectant wipes – These will be collected by the teacher

Please put your child’s name on their school supplies with permanent marker.

Grades 5 & 6 - Mr. Perry

The following is a list of classroom supplies every student should bring to school. Other items may be requested during the course of the school year.

  • Binder with four double pocket folders and college-ruled loose leaf paper. (please, no spiral bound paper)
  • Black or blue and red ink pens (erasable preferred, no bright colors)
  • Ruler with standard and metric measurements
  • Pencils (name brand, good quality) and erasers. Extra lead for mechanical pencils
  • Color markers or pencils
  • 2 - large Kleenex boxes (will be collected by the teacher)
  • Large bottle of disinfectant wipes
  • Pocket dictionary & thesaurus (middle school or high school level)
  • Water bottle (no straws)
  • Backpack or book bag
  • Calculator with basic functions (+, -, x, /, square root)
  • 2 - composition books


7th & 8th Grade - Ms Kuehmichel


  • Sturdy backpack
  • Water bottle
  • Kleenex box 
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Big binder with five pocket folders for each different subject
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • 2 - Spiral-bound college rule notebooks
  • #2 pencils (not mechanical)
  • Eraser


  • Scientific calculator (TI-30XIIS) - basic calculators, phone calculators, etc will not be sufficient!
  • Graph paper
  • Protractor
  • Ruler


  • Bible
  • Personal devotional books

Language Arts

  • Personal reading books - students should have a collection of books or access to books that are of high interest to them and that are appropriate to their reading level. it is important that they have these throughout the school year.




(some supplies may be shared among students in class)

  • Sketchpad
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons

Mr. Borne's Science Supplies

  • 1.5" 3-ring binder with section dividers
  • Scientific Calculator
  • Pencils

P.E. Supplies

Uniforms consisting of any of the following:

  • Shirts: Midland shirt or solid-color T-shirt that covers shoulders and waistline
  • Sweats/Shorts: any color, mub be fingertip length or longer
  • Shoes: Athletic non-marring soles
  • Socks: Yes
