Midland's AcroClub offers a gymnastics program for high school students and selected elementary students. Coached by Jonathan Borne, AcroClub regularly attends AcroFest, and presents yearly Homeshow performances at Midland. 

Due to the COVID pandemic, the AcroClub team has been on hiatus since the 2019 season.

AcroClub Home Show

April 2019 - The Midland AcroClub gymnastics team will present WARRIORS on Saturday, April 13. Beginning with the war in heaven, the story of salvation is portrayed through gymnastics routines based on the battle for human souls, focusing on using the armor of God to become a battle-tested prayer warrior.  Everyone is welcome to this free, family-friendly event at 8:00 p.m.  Contact Coach Borne for more info at jonathan.borne@midlandacademy.org.   


Acrofest 2019

The Midland AcroClub is looking forward to another Acrofest which will be held at Southern University for 2019. The following events will be streamed live:

  • Thursday - America's Got Talent - 6:00pm CST
  • Friday - Vespers - 7:00pm CST
  • Saturday - Sabbath School - 8:30am CST
  • Saturday - Church - 10:00am CST
  • Saturday - Evening Show - 6:30pm CST

Acrofest 2018

November 2018 - The Midland AcroClub greatlly enjoyed Acrofest 2018, "Your Secret Room". It was held at Southwestern Adventist University, and feature clinician rotations by university students, performances at local ISD schools in Keene, TX, and a huge performance on Saturday night.

Acrofest 2017

November 2017 - Our AcroClub has been visiting Washington Adventist University outside of Washington DC," reports Pastor Anthony Whitlow. "Joining about 25 other gymnastic teams totaling over 800 participants and clinicians, Midland's AcroClub has been learning all sorts of team and individual moves to learn and put in our own routines.
