Last school year, we had a renovation design for our new music department to adequately serve Midland's students in their musical growth and allow for increased creative instruction. To complete this project, we needed $120,000 by the summer of 2018.
We received a matching grant from Advent Health last year that promised $50,000 toward our project. With this in tow, we started planning to raise the remaining $70,000. Due to the generosity of parents, grandparents, and community members we raised more than that $70,000 and are now working on a new goal of roughly $160,000!!!!!
And at last, that design is no longer just a plan, but a reality! Our grand opening took place on Tuesday night, August 14 at 7:30 pm. The project is complete!
